LEONARDTOWN, Md. – A serious motor vehicle accident occurred this morning October 16, 2024, around 8:10 a.m., in Leonardtown leaving one person injured.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Point Lookout Road in the area of Deer Wood Park Drive. Crews arrived on the scene to find the vehicle off the roadway, overturned in a ditch. EMS evaluated one occupant and transported them to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for care.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
