
CLEMENTS, Md. – A serious multi-vehicle accident occurred on Budds Creek Road near the Gospel Tabernacle of Prayer on June 21, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found three vehicles involved in the collision, one of which veered off the roadway and into the woods, trapping and injuring one occupant. Firefighters quickly extricated a 35-year-old man and transferred him to EMS for immediate care.
EMS requested a MEDEVAC for the patient. Firefighters established a landing zone at Belmont Farm for Maryland State Police, Trooper 7, who airlifted the patient to UM Captial Region Medical Center for further treatment.
