VALLEY LEE, Md. – On July 23, 2024, at approximately 7:05 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a head-on collision involving two vehicles in the area of Piney Point Road and Peninsulas Court in Valley Lee.
Crews arrived on the scene to find two vehicles damaged with airbags deployed in the roadway. Both occupants from each vehicle were able to self-extricate.
EMS evaluated both patients on the scene and transported one driver to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for care. The other driver signed a care refusal.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
