Nothing sub-brand CMF is unveiling its first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, on July 8. Today a live image showing the front of the device has been leaked by a usually reliable source, and not only does it give us a look at the handset’s display, but it also confirms some long-rumored specs, since it’s showing the About phone screen in Android as you can see.
The CMF Phone 1 is thus confirmed to run Nothing OS 2.6.0 when it launches. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in this particular version.
The device comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, a 5,000 mAh battery, a 50 MP rear camera, and a 16 MP selfie snapper.
Most of these specs have already been confirmed by Nothing itself through its recent (and on-going) teaser campaign, aside from the battery capacity. Earlier today the brand has also showed us the phone’s back (see below), so with the leaked image above we now have a pretty full picture.
It looks like Nothing will sell back covers with extra battery capacity or a wallet for you credit cards (the top right), and also some with a kickstand (bottom). The SIM ejector tool seems to have a screwdriver head on the other end to help you change back plates. Speaking of which, the removable back cover will come in four colors: black, blue, light green, and orange.
yes mr. wayne, it does come in black… and also in blue, light green, and orange. pic.twitter.com/BZFZbfZfu1

We assume Nothing will sell these to people who want to customize their device, like cases. Only in this case (excuse the pun), it’s not a case, it’s the actual back cover of the phone.
