New Maryland school report card released

Maryland is getting its first data-driven look at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected student achievement. Ratings for more than a third of Baltimore City schools dropped from three years ago, according to the 2022 Maryland School Report Card released on Thursday. The Maryland State Department of Education released its report that rates public schools from a low of one star to a high of five stars. Across the state, more than 75% of schools earned three, four or five stars.
