Motorcyclist Flown Out After Crash In Huntingtown

HUNTINGTOWN, Md.– On July 1, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the 3100 block of Carroll Road. 

Crews arrived on the scene to find the crash with the motorcyclist suffering from significant traumatic injuries. EMS evaluated the patient on the scene and requested a MEDEVAC.

Firefighters established a landing zone nearby for Maryland State Police, Trooper 2. The patient was then airlifted to an area trauma center for treatment.  

Police continue to investigate the crash.
