CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. — A motorcyclist was injured following a serious crash on Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall, on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:05 p.m. on August 31, 2024, just north of New Market Turner Road. According to initial reports, the motorcycle collided with the rear passenger side of a Toyota Avalon.
Emergency responders found the motorcyclist suffering from injuries upon arrival. After on-scene evaluation, EMS personnel requested a MEDEVAC. A landing zone was established at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home for Maryland State Police, Trooper 7 helicopter.
The injured motorcyclist was then airlifted to an area trauma center for treatment. The extent of their injuries and current condition have not been disclosed.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
