Eight former Terps will enter the Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024, it was announced Monday.
The eight athletes include Alyssa Thomas (women’s basketball), Lonny Baxter (men’s basketball), Patty Corson Robbins (women’s swimming), Jill Fisher-Galli (gymnastics), Patrick Mullins (men’s soccer), Katie Schwarzmann (women’s lacrosse), Autumn Welsh Kelly (field hockey) and Lee Zink (men’s lacrosse).
Thomas is perhaps the most well-known Terp in the class. She played for Maryland from 2011-2014 and is a three-time All-American by WBCA, AP and USBWA (2012, 2013, 2014). Thomas currently plays for the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA.
