Maryland baseball earned a commitment from multi-position player Dylan Amos Saturday, he announced on X.

According to Perfect Game, the class of 2026 commit is listed as a right-handed pitcher, first baseman, middle infielder and shortstop. Listed at 6-foot and 195 pounds, Amos currently plays for Dirtbags 16U Platinum and attends Riverside High School in Loudon County, Va.
On Perfect Game, Amos’s fastball is listed between 83-86 miles per hour, with his slider at 75 and changeup at 77. He was named a 2024 Underclassmen Preseason All-American in the Atlantic Region by Perfect Game.
