Former Maryland men’s basketball forward Donta Scott, who spent five seasons with the Terps, has been added to the Golden State Warriors’ Summer League roster. He will represent the Bay Area in both the NBA 2K25 Summer League and the California Classic Summer League.
Scott earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors this past season, averaging 11.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He is one of only five players in program history to surpass 1,500 career points and 800 career rebounds.
In 2023, Scott was also an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention and was twice named to the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Watch List. Additionally, he was one of 64 players invited to the 70th annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, an NBA pre-draft event.
The Warriors’ schedule in the California Classic Summer League includes three games: against the Heat on July 6, the Lakers on July 7, and the Kings on July 10.
