Maryland football was picked to finish 11th of the 18 Big Ten teams in an unofficial preseason media poll conducted by Kings of the North, a YouTube show and podcast, Monday.
Ohio State led all teams in the poll, with Oregon, Penn State and Michigan following in suit. Also ranked to finish above Maryland were Iowa, USC, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Rutgers and Washington.
Thirty-three Big Ten football media members from varying regions voted.
The poll also asked voters to pick the Big Ten champion, as well as their top three preseason offensive and defensive player of the year candidates.
Twenty-seven voters selected Ohio State as the conference champion, while Oregon received the other six votes.
Maryland did not have a single player receive on offensive or defensive player of the year vote, as Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Michigan cornerback Will Johnson led their respective awards.
