Maryland football added to a commitment-filled weekend on Saturday, when two three-star defensive players announced their decision via Instagram.
Edge rusher Sidney Stewart attends Concordia Prep in Towson, Md. He is the 97th-ranked player at his position and the No. 43-ranked player from Maryland, according to the 247Sports Composite. He chose Maryland over Boston College, Indiana and Virginia Tech.
The second commitment of the day was defensive linemen Delmar White. He was the third class of 2025 player from Archbishop Spalding in Severn, Md., to commit to the Terps, and is currently unranked in the 247Sports Composite. He also received offers from UMass, Maine and Stony Brook.
Maryland earned five commitments last weekend, increasing its class of 2025 total to 17 players.
