Meghan Ball and Emily Sterling are set to join six other former Terps in the Athletes Unlimited Professional Women’s Lacrosse League that starts on Thursday.

The league began in 2021 and follows a format in which teams are redrafted weekly. Abby Bosco, Lizzie Colson, Marge Donovan, Megan Douty, Erica Evans and Grace Griffin all played in the league in 2023 and are returning for the 2024 season.

Only North Carolina has more representatives than the Terps in the league. All the league’s games take place at the USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.
