Three Terps received all-region honors on Friday: second baseman Sam Hojnar, infielder Eddie Hacopian, and pitcher Logan Berrier.
Sam Hojnar was the sole Maryland player to earn First Team All-Region honors. He played all 56 games for the Terps in 2024, achieving a .275 batting average, with 15 doubles, 16 home runs, and 57 RBIs. Hojnar became the first Terp since Matt Shaw in 2022 to homer in consecutive games. Additionally, he set a career-high with six RBIs against UMBC and matched this feat against Georgetown.
Eddie Hacopian and Logan Berrier both received Second Team All-Region honors. In his second season with Maryland, Hacopian led the team with a .377 batting average and 16 doubles. He also topped the charts for the Terps in runs scored, hits, walks, and on-base percentage.
Meanwhile, Logan Berrier was the standout pitcher for Maryland throughout the season. He finished 2024 with a 7-1 record, a 2.81 ERA, and 38 strikeouts. His seven saves tied for the ninth-most in a single season in program history.
