The Maryland women’s cross country team will head to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Saturday to compete in the Paul Short Invitational, a 6k race set to begin at 11:45 a.m.
Maryland has consistently ranked among the top teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region. After finishing No. 7 in the regional poll following the Spiked Shoe Invitational, the Terps recently slipped to No. 8 after a two-week break.
In their last outing at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, Maryland finished eighth out of 17 teams. Sophomore Rose Coats led the Terps, securing 14th place overall as the top Maryland finisher.
