LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On August 20, 2024, at approximately 10:07 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a single-motor vehicle accident on Forest Parks Road near Three Notch Road.
First responders arrived to find a vehicle that had veered off the road into a wooded area. The driver was unconscious at the scene and was immediately attended to by EMS personnel.
Despite their efforts, which included administering CPR during transport, the driver was pronounced dead upon arrival at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident was caused by a medical condition, leading to the unfortunate and untimely death of the driver. Authorities are withholding the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.
