Maryland Lottery Makes Two New Millionaires, As Multi-Match Hits For $500K


The Week in Winners: Lottery Players in Charlotte Hall, Dundalk, Frederick Win Week’s Biggest Prizes

— It was a big week for Maryland Lottery players, as a scratch-off ticket sold in Upper Marlboro delivered a $2 million prize, a Mega Millions ticket sold in Silver Spring won $1 million, and a player in Glen Burnie hit Maryland’s in-state jackpot game Multi-Match for $500,000.

Across Maryland, the Lottery paid more than $40.9 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending June 9, including 48 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
