Late-Night Arrest: Stolen U-Haul Operation Foiled In Anne Arundel County


SEVERN, Md. — Two suspects were apprehended early Tuesday morning in connection with a stolen U-Haul truck. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. at the Orchard Food Market on Reece Road in Severn. 

Officer Thacker Nigro with the Anne Arundel County Police Department – Western District discovered the occupied stolen vehicle during a routine patrol. The suspects, identified as Xavier Bunny Emmie Jones, 29, and Natalie Lenay Hickman, 34, both from Severn, were taken into custody at the scene. 

Jones was found in possession of a stolen 9mm Beretta PX4 handgun. He faces multiple charges, including, Loaded Handgun On Person, Handgun On Person, Firearm Possession, Criminal Violation/Felony Conviction, Illegal Possession of Ammunition, Regulated Firearm: Illegal Possession, Motor Vehicle: Unlawful Taking, And Theft: $25,000 To Under $100,000. Jones is being held without bond. 

Hickman was charged with Motor Vehicle: Unlawful Taking, And Theft: $25,000 To Under $100,000. Hickman was released on her own recognizance this morning. 

The estimated value of the stolen U-Haul is between $25,000 and $100,000.
