I had an OXO grater and kept cutting myself. This grater is better engineered and safer to use. I was skeptical of the plastic box that was included but it works perfectly. No grated cheese all over the place. The size is a bit large and works fine. The grip is very comfortable.
Finally, a strainer that straddles my sink, freeing up both hands to drain food. Also convenient for food prep by collecting scraps as I peel and chop. Versatile, well-made tool.
