Katrina Kaif recently took to Instagram to applaud the film Maharaja, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap. In her Instagram story on July 25, she shared the film’s poster and praised its “incredible storytelling.”
Kaif, who starred alongside Sethupathi in Merry Christmas, tagged him along with Kashyap and director Nithilan Swaminathan in her post.
Maharaja, which also features Mamta Mohandas and Natarajan Subramaniam, released on June 14, 2024, and is now streaming on OTT. The film marks Sethupathi’s 50th movie and has been well-received for its gripping narrative and performances.
Kaif’s appreciation comes after initially being wary of Sethupathi’s improvisational style on the set of Merry Christmas. However, they eventually found a working rhythm, leading to a successful collaboration.
