WBAL-TV would like to recognize a big honor for the president of our parent company, Hearst Television. Jordan Wertlieb is this year’s recipient of the First Amendment Leadership Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association. It honors an outstanding individual or organization that champions the First Amendment through responsible journalism. Wertlieb has been the president of Hearst Television since 2013 and before that, he was the president and general manager right here at WBAL.
