It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James William Kiesner (Jaimey) on August 15th 2024 in New Orleans LA. James William Kiesner was born on January 13th 1994 in Anaheim CA to Mary Moyer and James J Kiesner.
Jaimey was a daring child, full of life and adventure. He was a very independent child growing up, really good on a skateboard, was an avid music lover and a very good artist. Jaimey was very funny and made efforts to make people laugh. His best joke.. “Guess What?”
Jaimey had made many mistakes in life, but he was very good at loving his family. He had a big heart. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

As a child Jaimey’s laugh was contagious. Jaimey loved to make people happy and laugh. He was a daredevil and loved action and being active. Skating was Jaimey’s number one choice of enjoyment for years. He was an amazing artist with anything he drew and loved to show off his work. He was so smart, like the kind of kid that is so smart, he gets bored in school because he understood everything so much faster than the rest. Jaimey loved video games and playing video games with his siblings. His favorite color was purple. He loved telling stories and all kinds of music. He had the best hair. He loved the beach. He loved his pets. He loved his family. He had a sweet soul.
In his adult years, Jaimey became an addict. Most people don’t want to hear about this part of life, but this is a part of life, a sad very hurtful and very painful part of life. This was the part of Jaimey’s life, that ultimately took his life. He never wanted to hurt people, or to lie or steal. That was never Jaimey. Addiction changes people. He wanted his family to be proud of him. When Jaimey failed in life or when he let his friends and family down, the harder he fell and the harder it was for him to get up to try again. He told me often about his failings and how he longed to make them right. I wish Jaimey had the chance, he deserved so much better.
He is survived by Mary (Maggie) Moyer (mother) of Leonardtown MD, Mallorie Kiesner (sister) of Leonardtown MD, Jeremy Kiesner (brother) of Leonardtown MD, James Michael Moyer & Virginia Moyer (grandfather/grandmother) of Beaufort SC, William Kiesner & Judith Kiesner (grandfather/grandmother) of Elgin SC, Valerie Moyer (grandmother) of Lancaster OH, James Moyer (great grandfather) of Nashville TN, James J Kiesner (father) of Riverside CA.
He was preceded in death by Annica Epping (grandmother).
Funeral services will be private.
