UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – The Prince George’s Police Department is partnering with the Jacob’s Ladder Youth Foundation to provide a community clothing closet to people in need. Capable residents are encouraged to contribute to the collection by donating new and slightly used clothing at the Westphalia-Division VIII Patrol Station.
If you’re interested in donating, you can drop off unwanted clothing inside the collection box in the lobby of the Patrol Station, located at 8803 Police Plaza, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772. Donations are welcome year-round.
You can donate unused toiletries, baby clothes, sweaters, jackets, suits, shirts, pants, and shoes. All contributions are welcome, big or small.
If you have any questions about the Community Closet, you can direct them to the program coordinator by calling 301-516-5200.
