vivo sub-brand iQOO is getting ready to launch its lowest-end smartphone yet, which will be called Z9 Lite. According to a usually reliable tipster over on X, the iQOO Z9 Lite will become official in mid-July.
It will come in brown and blue, and those are unfortunately all the details we know about it so far. However, some rumors claim this will be a rebranded vivo T3 Lite, which is due to be unveiled on June 27.

If the rebranding does in fact happen, then we’ll know all of the iQOO Z9 Lite’s specs next week. In the meantime, note that the T3 Lite seems to have two rear cameras as well as stereo speakers. It’s teased to be vivo’s most affordable 5G phone, so the iQOO Z9 Lite should then be iQOO’s cheapest 5G device too.
The vivo T3 Lite is said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 SoC, and so the iQOO Z9 should employ the same chipset if it’s just a rebranded version of the vivo. Considering the current positioning of the iQOO Z9 and Z9x in the Indian market, it’s very likely that the Z9 Lite will be priced under INR 12,000 – perhaps well under that, in fact. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know when we find out more about it.
