“I was going to buy a small chest freezer like the one that I had for 10 years. But found this stand up at a unbelievable price. Have had it about a month now. The reason I went with this most of all is the fact it’s a stand up unit and fits in my kitchen next the fridge.
Some complain that it dies shortly after purchase – 2 to 3 months – but what I noticed is that in the ones with pictures, the owners have turned the dial all the way up. DO NOT do that on a mechanical dial freezer. It will run non stop in that setting and you will burn the motor out on the compressor.
