Bhumi Pednekar graced In The Ring With Filmfare as the show’s second guest. During her hearty chat with Fillmfare’s Editor-In-Chief Jitesh Pillaai, the actress opened up about her career, her personal life, and how she manages both effortlessly.
She dished on maintaining a work-life balance while dissing the obsession with hustle culture. “I believe that you should do everything in moderation, including working. Unfortunately, in India, there is a culture that makes us feel guilty for asking for a holiday. It’s as if requesting a break implies, we are not dedicated to our work.”
Adding to her point further, she added, “This mindset (of hustle culture) overlooks the reality that burning out means we genuinely need time to rest and recharge.”
