Honor is working on a new smartphone, the Google Play Console has revealed today. It’s called Honor X5b and it should launch very soon, now that it’s been listed in the Google Play Console. Thankfully, the listing gives us a good idea what to expect in terms of specs, and it’s also outed the image of the phone which you can see below.
Honor X5b Google Play Console listing
The Honor X5b has the model number GFY-LX2P, a waterdrop notch on its screen, along with very thick bezels (the chin even more so than the rest). It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, paired with just 4GB of RAM.
The phone will run Android 14 out of the box. Its screen has 720×1,620 resolution though it’s unclear what technology it uses. Then again, given the rest of the specs, we would assume this is an LCD.
Honor launched the X6b in June, with very similar looks to this one. That model is powered by the Helio G85, so the X5b, like the naming implies, will slot in Honor’s portfolio right underneath the X6b.
