2033 Roundtable representatives gathered in New York City, December 2-3, 2024
NEW YORK – In the second landmark gathering, over twenty-five esteemed ministry leaders from prominent global networks convened to collaborate, strategize, and exchange invaluable insights. This pivotal meeting was dedicated to advancing the mission of fulfilling the Great Commission by 2033.
Hosted by Dr. Billy Wilson, Oral Roberts University President, Pentecostal World Fellowship Chair and Empowered21 Global Chair, and Dr. Rick Warren, Executive Director of Finishing the Task and Founding Pastor of Saddleback Church, the event brought together the leaders representing significant denominations, para-church networks, organizations and evangelistic ministries from around the world for prayer, collaboration and strategic conversations.
“We are presently in a great moment of spiritual opportunity,” shared Dr. Wilson. “As we reach the year 2033, how wonderful would it be to lay at the feet of Jesus the most significant Great Commission effort in the history of the Church? That’s what brings us and keeps us at this table.”
“This can be done, but it will require faith,” noted Warren, “we know the fulfillment of the Great Commission is inevitable because Jesus said He is not coming back until it is fulfilled. The only question is, will we be the generation that fulfills it, or will we abdicate our responsibility to a future generation?”
The two-day meeting was marked by profound times of prayer, focused dialogue, and purposeful networking. The Roundtable members also discussed innovative pathways to increase operational integration towards collaborative evangelism and unity of mission.
The Roundtable will convene annually to synergize, collaborate strategically, and catalyze joint efforts toward fulfilling the Great Commission by 2033.
