Welcome to your week’s tech recap. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra will have upwards of 12GB of RAM. A Samsung VP used the company’s earnings call to reveal that the Galaxy S25 series will have top-of-the-line cameras, displays, and chipsets.
The Google Pixel 9 rumors have been heating up in the last few weeks. This week we got a hands-on video of the Pixel 9 Pro XL and size comparisons with popular phones like the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra. A leak detailed the phones’ storage, software, and charging. Expect 7 years of feature drops, but the phones will launch with Android 14, as number 15 is still being finalized.
All phones will start with 128GB of storage, while the Pixel 9 will go up to 256GB, and the Pros will have 256/512GB/1TB. As for RAM, the regular will get 12GB, while the Pros will have 16GB. Charging will top out at 45W.
The VP of Samsung MX said so on the recent earnings call, but didn’t clarify whether this is for the whole S25 series or just the Ultra.
The official announcement is a couple of weeks from now, but there have been numerous leaks – and this one might be the most extensive one.
