Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident Claims Life Of 77-Year-Old Man

SEVERNA PARK, Md. — On July 11, 2024, at approximately 1:05 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a single-vehicle crash at Jumpers Hole Road and Yorkshire Drive in Severna Park.

The police investigation revealed that the 2002 Jaguar XK8 was traveling west on Yorkshire Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle caught fire and came to rest on Jumpers Hole Road.

The driver, Robert Herald Engh, a 77-year-old male from Severna Park, Maryland, was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.

This crash is under investigation by the Anne Arundel County Police Department Traffic Safety Section.
