PINEY POINT, Md. – Enjoy a full day of family fun along the Potomac and at the lighthouse with live music, food, vendors, displays and a variety of kids and family activities September 14, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ADMISSION IS FREE FOR ALL.
Donations and membership sales from this event support the museum and historic preservation of Piney Point Lighthouse and grounds.

-Book signing in the museum by local author Christine Trent, the author of the Heart of St. Mary’s County series, a popular set of books set in our wonderfully history-rich community. Christine will be signing Book 1, St. Clements Bluff, in addition to BRAND NEW Book 2, Three Notch Safari. Book 3 will be released in July 2025.

-Parking & Shuttle: All parking will be FREE off-site at Piney Point Elementary School. FREE shuttles will be provided for transportation to the event. Shuttles will begin running at 9:00 AM and circulate from parking areas to the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum. There will be no public parking at the museum except for vehicles displaying appropriate handicap parking permits.
-No smoking of any kind will be permitted on museum grounds.
-An ATM will be available in the Main Museum Building.
-Only service animals are permitted inside museum buildings.
