Experts warn of flight scam websites targeting travelers
Prime travel season is right around the corner, but if you’re planning to fly, experts are warning about fake booking websites that scammers are using to steal your money. Lisa Caine in Severna Park went online to book a flight to Martha’s Vineyard for this summer. “I was busy. I was preoccupied. I wanted to get the tickets fast,” Caine said. She used Google to look up flights and clicked on what seemed like one of many booking sites.
