You can explore the cities in a number of ways. One of the best is a curated tour that showcases different tourist attractions, museums, theaters, churches, and stadiums. If you see a spot you’d like to come back and view, it can be favorited for later.

To find out more about a landmark, you can see detailed information from sources like Apple Maps and Wikipedia. If you’re planning a real trip, you can also see the location’s website, phone, and address.

Customize the map scene to see the city and landmarks in daytime and at night. For a truly immersive experience, you can also control the camera’s pitch with the built-in gyroscope of your device.

A recent update to version 2.0 has also ushered in a number of new features. Thanks to Apple Vision Pro support, you can explore the cities in a truly immersive experience. Taking inspiration from macOS Sonoma screensavers, you can now also glides over parts of the city to see the beautiful scenery.

The app’s new Explore tab helps make it easy to discover the cities.

Landmarks is a free download on the App Store now. It’s available on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.

You’ll need a subscription to unlock all of the app’s features. There are three different options—$1.99 per week, $6.99 yearly, or $24.99 for a lifetime unlock.
