Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently returned to a convenience store in Hawaii to right some of his past wrongs.Johnson posted on Instagram that he used to steal a king-sized Snickers bar every day from his local 7-Eleven store for nearly a year when he was 14 years old. Johnson said he didn’t have the money for his “pre daily workout” snack on his way to the gym.”The same clerk was there every day and always just turned her head and never busted me,” Johnson wrote.Johnson’s family was evicted from their home in 1987 and moved away, but he said every time he comes back home and drives past the store, he’s reminded of his actions.”I always knew I needed to go in and clean out every Snickers bar they had — the right way,” Johnson wrote. So that’s just what he did. Video on Johnson’s Instagram account shows him purchasing every single Snickers bar in the store and also covering the purchases of everyone who walked in while he was there. He also tipped cashiers who were working at the time.”We can’t change the past and some of the dumb stuff we may have done, but every once in a while we can add a little redeeming grace note to that situation — and maybe put a big smile on some stranger’s faces,” Johnson wrote.
