Leakster Ice Universe is known for many things – his accuracy, his insights and his obsession with smoothly animated UIs. Okay, we’re joking, but Ice does compare One UI’s animations with those of iOS quite often and Samsung’s current skins have been found lacking.
The upcoming One UI 7 has the potential to change all that – Ice posted this video that tests jumping between apps and the phone didn’t miss a beat.
For some reason, the leakster deleted the original post, but fellow X user @TechKhaled_ saved and reposted it.

And we should point out that One UI 7 is still in active development. That’s both praise and admonishment – to see it this smooth before it even hits beta is certainly encouraging, but…
The latest version of Samsung’s Android skin has been hit with multiple delays. The original plan may have been to reveal it during SDC 24, but it wasn’t ready. And, by the looks of it, it won’t be ready this year – this means that Samsung’s Android 15 update will be well behind the competition.
Yesterday, Samsung announced another developer conference, SDC Korea 24, which will be an online event. There is a chance that we will get more details on One UI 7 – perhaps not a full reveal, but at least a showcase of some of the new features and news on the public beta that will come before the stable release.
