CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – On October 11, 2024, at approximately 8:42 a.m., fire and rescue personnel responded to a vehicle fire threatening the structure at Beezy Point Market located at 3885 Breezy Point Road.
Crews arrived on the scene and found a delivery van fully involved threatening the structure. Firefighters stretched a hose line and attacked the van fire while additional crews advanced a hose line to check for extension into the building.
No extension or damage to the building was found. Firefighters quickly controlled the fire. No injuries have been reported.
