At the Kalki 2898 AD event, Rana Daggubati jokingly mentioned that Deepika Padukone, who plays a pregnant character in the sci-fi film, was still in character. To this Deepika replied, “I mean, the movie went on for three years, so I thought why not carry the bump just a few months more?”
Opening up about the experience of filming, Deepika shared, “It was a great learning experience. It was a completely new world and I think we went through different phases, discovering what the film was about. It was an incredible experience, both at a personal and professional level.”
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD also features Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee and more in pivotal roles. The film will be released on June 27, 2024.
