Check out the promo videos for the iPhone 16 series and the event highlights

Phew, this was an action-packed event – Apple introduced two new vanilla iPhones and two new iPhone Pros, unveiled the Apple Watch Series 10, plus next-gen AirPods 4 (and refreshed the AirPods Max)… if you missed the event live stream, you have a lot of catching up to do. Which is where these promo videos come in.

Here are the highlights of the nearly 2-hour event, edited down to just under 4 minutes:

We bet many of you are here just to see the new iPhones. Well, here is what’s new with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus in under 2 minutes:

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have grown bigger with 6.3” and 6.9” displays, respectively. They bring a host of upgrades, including 4K @ 120fps video recording (with Dolby Vision to boot). All the upgrades require a slightly longer video, here are the highlights in under 3 minutes:

Both vanilla iPhone 16 models and the 16 Pro duo support Apple Intelligence. This isn’t available just yet, but will arrive as part of iOS 18.1. It will be supported on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max too (plus iPads and Macs with an M1 chip or later). This will integrate into so many parts of iOS, from rewriting messages to creating custom emojis, from searching and organizing your photo library to bringing Siri into the AI era.

If you have more time – or are curious – you can watch the guided tour of the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models for a more detailed preview of what’s coming on September 20 when the new models hit store shelves:

The Apple Watch Series 10 is a massive upgrade – thinner and lighter than before but also packing the largest display of any Apple Watch (even the Ultra). There’s a depth gauge for diving, sleep apnea detection and so much more. Here’s a quick overview:

Apple revamped its wireless headphones with the launch of the AirPods 4. They come in two versions: with and without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The version with ANC also has Adaptive Audio and Transparency mode.

Health, well-being and improving the life of its users was a major topic of tonight’s event. The watches are a big part of that, but so are Apple’s headphones. The AirPods Pro 2 will be updated with a clinical-grade Hearing Aid feature, which can help people with mild to moderate hearing loss. Don’t know whether you need a hearing aid? The AirPods Pro 2 can perform a simple 5-minute check from the comfort of your home.
