LUSBY, Md. – Calvert County Parks and Recreation (CCPR) is seeking local artists to collaborate with on designing a unique and large-scale mural for the Cove Point Park basketball courts.
This mural will be a part of an upcoming renovation and resurfacing project according to CCPR.
“Any artist from Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties are invited to submit a proposal that includes a CV or resume and a 100-word or less write-up describing their vision for the courts. A submitted design idea is welcome with the application, but not required,” stated CCPR.
CCPR is looking for murals similar to this design. Abstract, modern, geometric, and brightly colored designs are encouraged.
