Calvert Gymnasts Score Big This Season

OWINGS, Md. – Twelve gymnasts from Jennie’s Chesapeake Gymnastics competed in the 2023-2024 gymnastics season, with all twelve qualifying for the Maryland State Gymnastics Meet.

Alyssa Fazekas, level 2, earned 6th place in vault with a score of 9.45, 6th in floor with a 9.7, 8th in balance beam with a 9.55, and 7th in all around.

Brynn Sands, level 2, earned 4th place in floor with a score of 9.55, 5th in balance beam with a 9.2, 7th in bars with 9.2, and 8th in all around.

Isabella Sanders, level 2, earned 5th place in floor with a score of 9.775, 8th in balance beam with a 9.675, 9th in bars with a 9.34 and 8th in all around.

McKenzie Wallace, level 2, earned 6th place in balance beam with a score 9.45, 7th in floor with a 9.425, and 8th in all around.

Chelsea Smith, level 4, earned 2nd place in balance beam with a score of 9.375, 3rd in floor with a 9.3, 9th in vault with a 9.0 and 10th in all around.

Chloe Blouir, level 4, earned 9th in vault, balance beam, and floor with scores of 9.050, 9.275, and 9.175, respectively.

Emily Oberg, level 4, earned 8th in vault with a score of 9.0.

Gianna Rothenberger, level 4, earned 9th in balance beam with a score of 9.150.

Taylor Mosely, level 4, earned 10th in vault with a score of 8.9.

Throughout the season, the gymnasts listed above, as well as Bayleigh Chase, Lilly Prettyman, and Mariyona Kerrick, collectively earned a total of 134 medals, with 15 – 1st place finishes, 16-2nd place finishes, and 16-3rd place finishes.
