PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Unit successfully apprehended a wanted fugitive, Dimitri Carswell, 32, of Washington, D.C., who was sought on multiple open warrants issued by Prince George’s County.
Carswell was wanted in connection with two armed robberies, two armed carjackings, and other related charges. Acting on information that Carswell was in the Calvert County area, warrant deputies located him at a residence in Prince Frederick shortly before 11 a.m. on August 6. Carswell was taken into custody without incident.
Following his arrest, Carswell was transported back to Prince George’s County, where the outstanding warrants will be served.
