Calvert County, Md. – The Calvert County government has announced a new campaign called “Name That Bus.” The goal is to rename the Calvert County Public Transportation Division’s buses, since they’ve recently become completely fare-free.
Fare-free buses will allow Calvert County residents to get to work or shopping centers without worrying about paying a fee to use the county’s public transportation system.
Anybody in Calvert County can contribute to the campaign by offering new ideas for the rebranding. If you’d like to propose an idea, you can submit potential names on this website. Through this event, Calvert County residents can get involved with their local government and give back to the county community.
The Name That Bus campaign is a great opportunity if you want to get involved with Calvert County government and local transportation. Any idea submitted has the possibility of being seen by residents all over Calvert County.
The Name That Bus campaign will stop accepting submissions on September 12th at 8:00 pm, so you have over a week to finish brainstorming the perfect name.
