Bryans Road Volunteers Quickly Respond To Overnight Car Fire

BRYANS ROAD, Md. — In the early hours of Thursday morning, a vehicle fire in Charles County was swiftly contained, thanks to the quick response of local firefighters.

At approximately 12:32 a.m. on August 22, 2024, the Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at 7068 Strawberry Drive in Bryans Road. The incident involved a 2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe, which had caught fire in its engine compartment.

Six firefighters from the Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control in just three minutes. Their rapid response likely prevented more extensive damage to the vehicle and potentially to surrounding property.

The owner of the vehicle, who discovered the fire, was unharmed in the incident. Preliminary estimates place the damage at approximately $3,000.
