Breakaway Music Festival has officially dropped the lineup for its 2026 Arizona edition, and it is nothing short of stacked. Set to descend upon Sloan Park Festival Grounds in Mesa on April 24–25, the two-day affair will bring a wide-ranging bill of electronic music’s most in-demand names to the Southwest, continuing the festival brand’s aggressive nationwide expansion following a record-setting 2025 campaign.
Headlining the weekend are three artists who collectively represent the full spectrum of modern dance music: Marshmello, Kygo, and ISOxo. Each brings a fundamentally different energy to the table, and the contrast is precisely what makes the billing so compelling.
Marshmello, the masked melodic bass and future bass heavyweight, has spent the better part of a decade cementing himself as one of the most recognizable figures in electronic music. His festival sets are well-known for their high-energy, sing-along appeal, blending euphoric drops with pop-adjacent sensibilities that have earned him collaborations with artists from Selena Gomez to Khalid. For the Arizona crowd, his presence at the top of the bill guarantees an amazing time.
Kygo, the Norwegian tropical house pioneer, brings an entirely different dimension. Few artists have done more to define the melodic, sun-kissed sound that dominated the mid-2010s and continues to resonate with festival audiences worldwide. Having headlined stages from Coachella to Tomorrowland, Kygo’s inclusion at Breakaway Arizona signals the event’s intent to cater to fans who prefer their electronic music with emotional depth and sweeping, cinematic arrangements.
Rounding out the top tier is ISOxo, the young Los Angeles-based producer who has become one of the most talked-about names in bass music over the past two years. His ability to fuse elements of Jersey club, drum and bass, trap, and high-BPM experimentation, has made him a favorite among fans who gravitate toward the more adventurous end of the electronic spectrum. His 2024 debut album kEEp gOINg was widely regarded as one of the year’s standout records, and his live shows have earned a reputation for their relentless intensity. At Breakaway Arizona, ISOxo represents the next generation of headliner-caliber talent.
Beyond the headliners, the lineup leans into a carefully curated mix of house, bass, and melodic acts that should keep the energy shifting across stages throughout the weekend including James Hype, the UK-born, Ibiza-approved tech house and disco specialist, and Loud Luxury, the Canadian duo known for feel-good, vocal-driven house that translates seamlessly to open-air stages.
The undercard is where the programming gets particularly interesting. Dr. Fresch brings his signature blend of bass house and g-house, while Mersiv offers immersive, bass-heavy soundscapes rooted in dubstep and experimental bass traditions. Grabbitz, known for his multi-instrumentalist approach to electronic production, adds a live performance dimension, and Jon Casey and Truth round out the heavier contingent with their respective takes on bass music.
On the melodic and groove-oriented side, Cassian brings his refined, emotionally textured house productions, while Effin delivers a bass-forward sound that bridges the gap between dubstep and riddim. MPH adds high-octane drum and bass energy to the bill, a genre that has surged in popularity across North American festival circuits over the past year. Rounding out the roster are Disco Dom, Stellar, Angrybaby, Align, Arthi, Shima, and Xandra, each adding their own flavor to what promises to be a diverse and dynamic weekend of programming.
The venue itself, Sloan Park Festival Grounds, offers an ideal setting for the event. Located in Mesa, just east of Phoenix, the grounds provide ample space for multi-stage setups and the kind of production infrastructure that Breakaway has become known for. Breakaway Arizona is part of the festival brand’s expansive 2026 tour, which will touch down in 14 cities across the United States. The broader tour kicks off with Breakaway Dallas on April 10–11 and runs through November, with stops in Tampa, Atlanta, Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, the Carolinas, Utah, Northern California, and Houston.
