BBB warns Marylanders to beware of car-repair scam
A Maryland woman who said she fell victim to a scam involving her car is warning others about what happened to her. According to the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland, the scam is increasing in frequency and is more common than one might think — and it could cost you a lot of money. Last month, Lori Gordon said she was walking to her truck at a shopping center when three people in a small car pulled up and one of them offered to fix the dents on her truck.
