
Prince George’s County, MD. – The Prince George’s County Animal Shelter participated in the Maryland 3000 Adoption Campaign during August. Throughout the month, the shelter waived fees relating to animal adoption in the hopes that eager pet parents would adopt cats, dogs, and other small animals.
The Maryland 3000 Adoption Campaign was an event that waived adoption fees across many participating animal shelters in Maryland during the month of August.
On Saturday, August 24th, Maryland residents adopted 13 dogs in one day. Many dogs and other pets now have new homes thanks to supporting families all over the state.
The Prince George’s County Animal Shelter created a post about August 24th on its Facebook page, stating, “We want to thank the community for showing up and adopting/fostering/redeeming their lost animals.”
Although the 2024 Maryland 3000 Adoption Campaign is over, you can still help animals find a home by adopting from the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter.
