iQOO unveiled the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro last week in India. The Z9s Pro is already on sale, and starting noon local time today, the Z9s will also be available in India through iQOO’s Indian website and Amazon.in.
The iQOO Z9s comes in Onyx Green and Titanium Marble colors in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations, priced at INR19,999 ($240/€215), INR21,999 ($260/€235), and INR23,999 ($285/€255), respectively. The Z9s Pro costs INR5,000 ($60/€55) more for the same memory options.
The iQOO Z9s is built around a 6.77″ FullHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display of 1,800 nits peak brightness. It has a fingerprint reader underneath for password-less unlocking of the phone and a centered punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera.
Around the back, you get a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary (Sony IMX882, OIS) and a 2MP “bokeh camera.” The iQOO Z9s is powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC and boots Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. iQOO has promised two years of Android updates and three years of security updates for the Z9s but hasn’t committed anything regarding the rollout frequency of the latter.
Keeping the iQOO Z9s fueled is a 5,500 mAh battery with 44W charging support. Other highlights of the iQOO Z9s include Wet Touch support for the screen, stereo speakers, and an IP64 rating.
The iQOO Z9s is similar to the Z9s Pro and comes with a dimmer screen, a different processor, and slower charging. It also doesn’t have an ultrawide camera. You can check the detailed specs comparison of the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro here.
