GREAT MILLS, Md. – On August 22, 2024, at approximately 8:40 p.m., emergency personnel responded to Flat Iron Road in the area of Stoney Court for a serious single motor vehicle crash.
Crews arrived on the scene to find the vehicle overturned off the roadway. The injured driver was out of the car upon arrival.
EMS evaluated the patient and requested a MEDEVAC due to injuries. A landing zone was established at King’s Christian Academy in Callaway for Maryland State Police, Trooper 7. The patient was then airlifted to UM Capital Region Medical Center for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
