Driver Injured After Ford Ranger Rolls Over Multiple Times In California

CALIFORNIA, Md. – Emergency personnel responded to a serious single-vehicle accident on Patuxent Beach Road near Three Notch Road on July 30, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

According to reports, a caller advised that a pickup truck had rolled over multiple times before landing on its wheels.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a Ford Ranger off the roadway with one injured occupant. No entrapment was found, but the passenger reportedly attempted to walk away from the scene.

A deputy on the scene confirmed that no other vehicles were involved, despite earlier reports from other news sources suggesting otherwise.

EMS evaluated the male driver on the scene and subsequently transported him to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further care. The passenger refused medical treatment.

The driver stated that his truck hydroplaned due to water on the roadway from recent storms, leading to the crash.
