Sharon Lee “Gmama” Ryce Reeves, of Clements, MD., passed away July 9, 2024 at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with her loving husband and family by her side.
Sharon Lee was born November 11, 1952, the daughter of Thomas Levin Ryce and Joan Marie Nelson Ryce.
Sharon Lee was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County and loved all it had to offer. Especially the water and seafood.
Throughout her life, Sharon Lee always was willing to help anyone in need. Whether that be the shirt off of her back or just a place to stay. With warm hugs and lasting love, she was unforgettable to anyone she came across. Throughout her life, she was always there to step up and help and most would refer to her as the family glue.
While times were not always easy, Sharon Lee found true happiness with the love of her life and wonderful husband, Danny “Bull” Reeves who will deeply miss her quick wit and beautiful smile. Danny “Bull” and Sharon Lee wed in August of 2006 and the love they shared was something to be admired.
Sharon Lee loved her family tremendously and always enjoyed having someone drop on by to visit or just call her on the phone to talk! Her grandchildren and nieces and nephews were her heart and the twinkle in her eye, when all were together was something special. She loved family parties and shooting the breeze with her siblings!
Sharon Lee is survived by her loving husband Danny “Bull”, her three children, Missy Payne (Eddie), Brenda Hill (Keith), and Marty Johnson, her four grandchildren, Britni Bowles (Jesse), Haley Wathen (Jeffrey), Dylan Payne (Hailey), and Kyle Hill (Rebecca) and four great grandchildren, Cadence, Leighton, Olivia, and Cora, and her lovable dogs: Snooks, Sadie, and Kratos. Along with many nieces and nephews that will miss her!
Also survived by her siblings that she loved endlessly, Thomas Levin Ryce II (Bean), John Francis Ryce SR. (Johnny), James David Ryce SR. (Jimmy), Paula Jane Shook, and Stephen Patrick Ryce SR. (Stevie).
Family will receive friends on Friday July 19, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD, 20650.
